Sustainability at Fulton Hogan

We have been working hard on reducing the carbon footprint. I was a part of a project recently which involved using waste recycle oil in our mixes to reduce our carbon emission as well as our cost.

These are constantly improving, but we need buy in from everyone.

Using less paper etc, and there are aims to reduce carbon footprint within the business.

Most of the products are either compostable or recyclable, always taking efforts to create a green environment.

Some effort, not enough immediate action and support from high up in the company, with an overall image.

My company being part of the construction industry is constantly finding ways to improve our green initiative as well as ensuring all employees are educated and aware of the responsibility we hold to reduce our environmental footprint in everyway possible.

The company has put lots into the Environment and Sustainability. I am part of the environmental team, which is growing in size which is great to see. Everyone values and respects the importance of the environment and I can confidently say that enviros are constantly in discussion with designers, planners and engineers to ensure the works they want to do are environmentally friendly. Sustainability is similar to the environment, where the company values its importance.

Environmental department is large and seems are working hard to try and meet the Governments goal of 30% reduction of CO2 by 2030. Company is quite green and always trying to better their environmental foot print.

Trying new things to reduce carbon output.

25% and 30% reductions in carbon emissions by 2025 and 2030 respectively, and to match the broader governmental goal of carbon neutrality by 2050.

I have seen a bit about sustainability.

Recently I put together some quotes for solar panels and presented to our commercial manager. The company is actively seeking to reduce it's carbon footprint.

Reduction in plant hours.

There is an environmental team dedicated to reducing the construction's enviro effects.

It is difficult but there is definitely a push.
