Parents & Carers at Western Power

Beyond women in leadership, Western Power strives to attract and retain the best female talent in Australia.

Beyond women in leadership, Western Power strives to attract and retain the best female talent in Australia. Our Women’s Employee Network Group (ENG) plays an important role in ensuring Women’s issues are understood and visible through seminars, symposiums, workshops etc, as well as hosting events and forums both within the firm and beyond to advance gender equality

Western Power help support this through providing 16 weeks paid parental leave for the primary caregiver, regardless of gender, adopters, foster carers, surrogacy and stillbirth, domestic and family violence (DFV) leave of up to fifteen days per year, flexible work options and support for parents navigating parenthood through having 24/7 access to our “Staying Connected” parental platform providing advice, articles, trips and resources to ensure our employees thrive.
