I am a travel consultant and my responsibilities include organising and managing holidays for my clients and ensuring the store runs smoothly on a day to day basis.

Working in different areas of the business has allowed me to build a well-rounded skillset and a holistic understanding of the Qantas Group.

The Flight Centre Graduate program definitely appealed to me, as it opened doors to a career in travel, which I’m very passionate about.

I love being able to spend all day in Excel with headphones on, and then the next day is in a workshop with 10 people nutting out an issue. I also enjoy the staff travel benefits.

It’s cliché but true – I knew from the start that I wanted a grad role in an organisation that I believed in and would be proud to say I worked for. 

It was actually a good time for me to learn at the restaurant while I needed some training as well at work, so it was complementing each other.
