University of New England (UNE) Courses

A candidate shall:

(a) hold the AQF Level 7 degree of Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent; or

(b) hold an AQF Level 8 Graduate Certificate in Nursing; or

(c) hold an AQF Level 8 Graduate Diploma in Nursing; or

(d) satisfy UNE by means of other relevant* professional experience by submitting a Statement of Service from your employer/s and a resume outlining a minimum of three years' full-time (or equivalent) relevant* professional experience and training undertaken in the past 10 years.

* Relevant discipline: Nursing

A candidate shall submit a Statement of Service for their work experience from their employer (on company letterhead) and a resume; and

(a) hold an AQF Level 5 Diploma in Financial Planning or Financial Services or an AQF Level 6 Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning or Financial Services from an Australian TAFE or Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and at least two years' full-time equivalent relevant experience in the financial services industry.

This course is not open to graduates of the UNE Bachelor of Commerce (commenced in 2018).

A candidate shall:

(a) hold an AQF Level 8 Graduate Certificate in Commerce from UNE; or

(b) hold an AQF Level 8 Graduate Diploma in Commerce from UNE.

A candidate shall:

(a) hold an AQF Level 7 Bachelor degree, or an AQF Level Bachelor degree and an AQF Level 8, 9 or 10 postgraduate qualification in a health related discipline* area from a recognised university in Australia or overseas, and not be currently registered to practice as a nurse in Australia; and

(b) at least one of the following criteria must be met:

(i) English is the applicant's first language; or

(ii) comply with the University's English Language Requirements for Admission and English Language Requirements higher than the University minimum requirement Annex for Courses in Nursing (Conferring Eligibility for Registered Nurse Status)

* Health related discipline area may include, but is not limited to: Social Work; Community Services; Paramedicine; Allied Health; Biomedical Science.

A candidate shall:

(a) hold an AQF Level 7 Bachelor qualification or above ; or

(b) hold an AQF Level 8 Graduate Certificate in Data and Cyber Management from UNE.

A candidate shall hold an AQF Level 7 Bachelor degree from a recognised university in a related field of study, for example, Urban and Regional Planning, Geography or Environmental Science.

Applicants must meet the University's English Language Requirements for Admission Rule.

A candidate shall have:

(a) either fulfilled the requirements for the degree of Bachelor of Agribusiness or the Bachelor of Business with a major in Agribusiness, or an equivalent AQF Level 7 award as determined by the school; and

(b) completed units to the value of at least 36 credit points at 300 level in the discipline; and

(c) passed units to the value of at least 36 credit points at 200 level or above with a GPA of 5 (Credit) or better in the discipline.

A candidate shall:

(a) hold an AQF Level 7 Bachelor degree in a non-relevant discipline; or

(b) hold an AQF Level 7 Bachelor degree in a relevant discipline*.

*Relevant disciplines, include but are not limited to the following:

Agricultural and Resource Economics;

Agribusiness;

Development Economics;

Economics;

Econometrics.

A candidate shall submit a Statement of Service for their work experience from their employer; and

(a) hold an AQF Level 7 Bachelor qualification or above in a non-relevant discipline and at least two years of full-time equivalent relevant work experience*; or

(b) hold an AQF Level 7 Bachelor qualification or above in a relevant discipline** and at least two years of full-time equivalent relevant work experience*; or

(c) hold an AQF Level 6 Advanced Diploma in a relevant discipline** from an Australian TAFE or Registered Training Organisation and have at least four years of full-time equivalent relevant work experience*; or

(d) hold an approved AQF Level 5 Diploma in a relevant discipline** from an Australian TAFE or Registered Training Organisation and have at least five years of full-time equivalent relevant work experience*; or

(e) have at least six years of full-time equivalent relevant work experience*.

*Relevant work experience refers to a position of responsibility in any organisational or industry context.

**Relevant disciplines include, but are not limited to, Banking, Business, Finance, Human Resource Management, Leadership, Management, Marketing and Sales.

A candidate shall:

(a) hold an AQF Level 7 Bachelor qualification or above in a non-relevant discipline; or

(b) hold an AQF Level 7 Bachelor qualification in a relevant discipline*; or

(c) hold an AQF Level 8 Graduate Certificate in a relevant discipline*; or

(d) be an international student and hold an AQF Level 7 Bachelor qualification in a relevant or non-relevant discipline* and be studying on a full-time basis at the UNE Sydney campus; or

(e) hold an AQF Level 8 Graduate Diploma qualification or above in a relevant discipline*.

*Relevant disciplines include but are not limited to:

Accounting

Agribusiness

Business

Economics

Finance

Management

All candidates must meet the University's English Language Requirements for Admission Rule.

A candidate shall:

(a) hold a three-year or four year pre-service teaching qualification of a recognised University or tertiary institution (AQF Level 7); or

(b) hold a bachelor degree and a one or two year pre-service teaching qualification of a recognised University (AQF Level 7); or

(c) hold a bachelor degree (AQF Level 7) in Linguistics and a minimum Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TESOL specialisation only); and

(d) comply with the University's English Language Requirements for Admission Rule.

A candidate shall hold an AQF Level 7 Bachelor degree in any discipline.

This course is not open to graduates of the UNE Bachelor of Urban and Regional Planning.
