Entry Requirements

A candidate shall:

(a) hold the AQF Level 7 degree of Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent; or

(b) hold an AQF Level 8 Graduate Certificate in Nursing; or

(c) hold an AQF Level 8 Graduate Diploma in Nursing; or

(d) satisfy UNE by means of other relevant* professional experience by submitting a Statement of Service from your employer/s and a resume outlining a minimum of three years' full-time (or equivalent) relevant* professional experience and training undertaken in the past 10 years.

This course is not offered in 2021. The Graduate Certificate in Financial Planning will help further your career opportunities in financial planning by providing you with the key skills in ethics and specialist areas of financial planning.
Entry Requirements

A candidate shall submit a Statement of Service for their work experience from their employer (on company letterhead) and a resume; and

(a) hold an AQF Level 5 Diploma in Financial Planning or Financial Services or an AQF Level 6 Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning or Financial Services from an Australian TAFE or Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and at least two years' full-time equivalent relevant experience in the financial services industry.

This course is not open to graduates of the UNE Bachelor of Commerce (commenced in 2018).

A candidate shall:

(a) hold an AQF Level 7 Bachelor degree, or an AQF Level Bachelor degree and an AQF Level 8, 9 or 10 postgraduate qualification in a health related discipline* area from a recognised university in Australia or overseas, and not be currently registered to practice as a nurse in Australia; and

(b) at least one of the following criteria must be met:

(i) English is the applicant's first language; or

(ii) comply with the University's English Language Requirements for Admission and English Language Requirements higher than the University minimum requirement Annex for Courses in Nursing (Conferring Eligibility for Registered Nurse Status)

* Health related discipline area may include, but is not limited to: Social Work; Community Services; Paramedicine; Allied Health; Biomedical Science.

The Graduate Certificate in Planning and Management of Natural Hazards takes a multidisciplinary approach to looking at natural hazards and how society can build resilience in the face of natural hazards.

Students with above average grades are encouraged to undertake a fourth year of advanced study in their specialised stream, leading to the degree of Bachelor of Agribusiness with Honours.
Entry Requirements

A candidate shall have:

(a) either fulfilled the requirements for the degree of Bachelor of Agribusiness or the Bachelor of Business with a major in Agribusiness, or an equivalent AQF Level 7 award as determined by the school; and

(b) completed units to the value of at least 36 credit points at 300 level in the discipline; and

(c) passed units to the value of at least 36 credit points at 200 level or above with a GPA of 5 (Credit) or better in the discipline.

The Graduate Certificate provides graduates with fundamental knowledge about human resource management (HRM).
Entry Requirements

A candidate shall submit a Statement of Service for their work experience from their employer; and

(a) hold an AQF Level 7 Bachelor qualification or above in a non-relevant discipline and at least two years of full-time equivalent relevant work experience*; or

(b) hold an AQF Level 7 Bachelor qualification or above in a relevant discipline** and at least two years of full-time equivalent relevant work experience*; or

(c) hold an AQF Level 6 Advanced Diploma in a relevant discipline** from an Australian TAFE or Registered Training Organisation and have at least four years of full-time equivalent relevant work experience*; or

(d) hold an approved AQF Level 5 Diploma in a relevant discipline** from an Australian TAFE or Registered Training Organisation and have at least five years of full-time equivalent relevant work experience*; or

(e) have at least six years of full-time equivalent relevant work experience*.

*Relevant work experience refers to a position of responsibility in any organisational or industry context.
