Over a 2-year program, you'll have the opportunity to:

About the role 

In this role you will:

  • Assist senior lawyers within the Commercial and Legal Team with researching, drafting and collating reports, briefs and responses to Freedom of Information (FOI) request.
  • Assist the team to ensure that legal documents are stored in accordance with statutory requirements and open to audit at any time.
  • Build relationships and manage internal and external stakeholders.

When you join the program, you'll be employed full time at a salary of $74,580 + superannuation (effective from December 2024 – as per VPS EA 2020).

We are seeking recent graduates, and representatives of Victoria's diverse community to join the 2025 Victoria’s Big Build Graduate Programs. Take the opportunity to build both your career and Victoria's infrastructure.

To be eligible, you must have completed your degree between January 2022 and January 2025 and have Australian full working rights at the time of application.

About Victoria’s Big Build 

Victoria’s Big Build (Victorian Infrastructure Delivery Authority - VIDA)) was established to oversee the major transport projects in planning and construction to deliver 180 major road and rail projects that will change the way that Victorians work, live and travel. 

Projects teams include - Metro Tunnel, North East Link Program, West Gate Tunnel Project, Level Crossing Removal Project, and Big Build Roads.

VIDA works closely with the Department of Transport to ensure major construction activities and disruptions are coordinated across the network. This includes plans to keep people moving through major work periods. We also work with the industry to ensure it has the skilled workers needed to deliver Victoria’s massive construction program.
