We work with the best thinkers

Great minds from diverse backgrounds grow the future together here. We’re proud to work amongst the best at home in Australia and with partners around the world.

We share one portfolio, one purpose, one team

We aren’t afraid to do things differently to the rest. Collaboration is our edge – we work together as one team with the rare ability to think freely.

We grow the fund that’s growing Australia

Life-changing research. Important initiatives. The work we do helps fund a better future for all Australians. Today, and for generations to come.

What we do

We were established in 2006 to strengthen the Australian Government’s long-term financial position. Today, we manage over $270 billion across seven public asset funds.

Every dollar that we make is a dollar that adds to Australia’s wealth and contributes to its future.

Established in 2006, the Future Fund is the Commonwealth Government’s largest financial asset, helping to strengthen Australia’s balance sheet and long-term financial position.

We are responsible for investing the assets of seven special purpose public asset funds: the Future Fund, the Medical Research Future Fund, the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Land and Sea Future Fund, the Future Drought Fund, the Disaster Ready Fund, the DisabilityCare Australia Fund and the Housing Australia Future Fund.
