What are your thoughts on pay and bonuses at your company?
As a graduate, the pay is good, especially when considering the additional superannuation
Graduate, Canberra
Pay rise every year
Graduate, Canberra
The pay is very generous for a grad program.
Graduate, Canberra
Pay is quite good for an engineering graduate. There are consistent pay rises each year which is also nice. However, pay is not great in senior engineering positions. 15% super is also very nice. No other bonuses though.
Graduate, Sydney
The salary is very competitive for a graduate position and it comes with a very generous superannuation.

Pay is fine. For a grad program I actually think APS4 is pretty good compared to the competition. Long term I don't think APS has the greatest pay, but the work life balance makes up for it. Also APS doesn't list the super in their provided salary, it's an additional 15% on top, so considering that, the pay is quite competitive.
Graduate, Canberra
Pay with transparent pay progression throughout
Graduate, Sydney
Company offers a very decent salary, and above average super contributions
Graduate, Melbourne
I am pretty happy with the pay currently but it's not entirely sustainable as I increase my skill set so in the future, I will aim to get promoted/apply for more senior roles.
Graduate, Nowra
Competitive pay for a graduate program. Higher than most other graduate engineering positions.
Graduate, Sydney
Pay is decent, but average compared to the cost of living in Canberra
Graduate, Canberra
Starting salary quite high for a graduate.

As government we don't have bonuses. Pay is okay about average for a graduate. My program is the only Defence program to have pay progression during my program (mainly because it is significantly longer than any other program - 3 years)
