I work quite independently, having been given my own project to deliver on at the start of my rotation. Each day looks different depending on what needs to be done - I am usually either in the lab running experiments, processing data or having meetings/discussions about the results.

Creating plans, involving isolations so work can be carried out safely by the techs. Ensuring parts arrive in time for preventative maintenance to be carried out. Fixing things throughout the plant as they do not work. Assisting in shutdown and planning of shutdowns. Assisting in requests outside of my department.
