The coolest thing about this job is the real-life experience. For me is it not a specific task that I have enjoyed the most, it is the new sense of professionalism I have gained.

Don’t think that university is the only way forward, always remember TAFE and what courses they offer. Sometimes experience in an industry is better than a qualification.

My job is not physically demanding, but sometimes the responsibility becomes a bit big, which is normal in every job – but with the right attitude it can be managed, especially with the help of your team and manager.

The coolest thing about my job is the autonomy I have. Even as an intern I have control over my daily schedule. I can choose if I’m working at the office or from home. I can choose what tasks I prioritise and control the flow of my work.

That you are actually making a positive impact on this planet, and the positive response you receive. When you implement a circular solution or cut down emissions by xx tonnes, you feel like you are on top of the world.

I love the collaboration and positive, engaging culture that Intergen brings with them.

It was very eye opening to see what goes on behind the scenes to get product to customers, especially on the scale that The Warehouse Group operates at!

I never let a chance pass me by to learn, whether that is as a student, or as a trainer, and am always experimenting by building new assessments and labs for our students to tackle.
