The coolest parts of my job are the chances to learn and interact with such a diverse group of clients and colleagues.

I love being given tasks I have never done before and using all the skills I have learnt during my degree and through my experience to give it a go. I get this nerdy buzz when I feel myself stepping out of my comfort zone and growing.

I completed G+T’s clerkship program in Melbourne and was offered a graduate position afterwards. My current specialisation is C+R.

As a Graduate Solicitor at the Crown Solicitor’s Office, I work with other lawyers to give legal advice to NSW government agencies and to act for them in litigation.

The coolest thing about my job is that I am able to do an overseas secondment, which involves working for a different office in a different country. This allows me to travel a bit while working in a new environment.

I’m often asked to assist by conducting research into niche areas of law, preparing correspondence and attending client meetings and court.

Being a part of these types of agreements is a highly rewarding process, especially when a matter concludes after months of negotiation and hard work.

As a clerk, paralegal and then graduate entering the legal market, I was excited to get into work at HSF and frustrated at the many stumbling blocks that would pop up along the way.
