This traineeship will provide you with the ideal starting place for a career on one of Australia's most in-demand industries.

During this traineeship, you will gain hands-on skills and experience in all facets of farm skills including workplace safety, machinery operation, fencing and caring for livestock.

You must be employed as a trainee with a registered employer in the agricultural industry to apply for this course.

What you will learn

You will learn a variety of agricultural skills that will give you the basis to confidently work in a farming enterprise including:
  • operate basic machinery, equipment, quad bikes, tractors and side by side vehicles
  • conduct front-end loaders
  • install, maintain and repair farm fencing
  • handle livestock
  • care for health and welfare of livestock
  • carry out Birthing duties
