You'll learn to motivate and influence positive health behaviour and support healthy eating and long-term exercise programs. You'll also learn to incorporate exercise science into your programs and collaborate with medical and allied health professionals to develop exercise programs for clients.

This course prepares you to work in the Sport & Recreation industry as a Personal Trainer, Gym Manager or a Fitness Centres and Community facility Manager. Work in a gym, studio, or run your own business, inspiring and training clients one-on-one.
After graduating SIS40215 Certificate IV Fitness qualification, professional registration can be sourced from the Fitness Accreditation bodies including Fitness Australia and/ or Physical Activity Australia.
Please note, additional training would be required for you to provide advice or exercise instruction to high-risk clients, other than to refer the client to an appropriate medical or allied health professional.
