Start your pathway to a career in engineering with the Certificate II in Engineering Studies.
In this pre-apprenticeship you'll learn core skills in machining, interpreting and preparing technical drawings, and making engineering computations. You'll also gain valuable experience with hand tools and power tools, basic welding and thermal cutting processes, and workplace safety processes and procedures.
This course provides students with the skills and knowledge to assist them in gaining an apprenticeship in the engineering trade.
This course is delivered on campus, through the VETDSS program and is available as part of the Free TAFE scheme for eligible students.
