Channel your passion for the natural environment into a career. The Certificate II in Agriculture gives you the skills and knowledge to enter the Agriculture industry as an Assistant Farm Hand. Jobs in Agriculture provide a great deal of variety and opportunity and can be very flexible in regards to working hours.
You'll gain a diverse skill set that will allow you to work in anything from horse breeding to sugar production. You'll learn how to care for livestock, recognise plants, and plan and construct fences.
You'll also receive important safety training in a range of industrial equipment including tractors and chainsaws, as well as how to safely use, transport, and store of chemicals.
This course can be delivered on campus, as a School-based Apprenticeship, a Traineeship, or as part of the VET Delivered to Secondary Students.
