Australian College of Nursing (ACN) funds and administers a number of grants that are available to members and fellows of ACN. There is over $100,000 worth of grants and awards on offer to assist nurses in research and professional development. These grants provide the financial opportunity for individuals to continue their education and contribute to the changing profession of nursing.

Emerging Nurse Leader (ENL) Program
The ENL Program identifies five undergraduate nursing students annually who have demonstrated a commitment to leadership in nursing through their involvement in student and community activities, student representation and/or other involvement in the advancement of the nursing profession. Eligibility: Must be an undergraduate nurse and in your second year of study; open to ACN members and non-members.
The College Consortium Fund - up to $30,000
The research grant is available to registered nurses and midwives to conduct a research project that aims to improve access, equity, quality and outcomes in health care. Applications from research collectives and multidisciplinary groups are encouraged. Available bi-annually - next round 2013. Eligibility: Chief or lead investigator must be a member of ACN.
ACN Scholarship Grant - $5,000
Scholarship for postgraduate or honours studies at an Australian higher education institution. Eligibility: Must be a member of ACN.
