When you complete the Diploma of Horticulture, you'll have the entrepreneurial skills and technical know-how to develop a thriving horticultural business.

You'll extend your knowledge in areas such as irrigation system design and implementation; pest management; plant classification and recommendation; plant nutrition; and landscape project design.

Entry requirements

All applicants must complete the basic key skills builder assessment (BKSB) and obtain an exit level 4 - working level 5 of the Australian Core Skills Framework (ACSF) in both literacy and numeracy, alternatively applicants who have a minimum twelve months experience working in the Horticulture industry or related field., Applicants are also required to have a basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and email., Please note: applicants must be physically capable of undertaking manual handling tasks and using handtools and be able to stand for periods of up to four hours at a time.
