When you complete the Certificate III in Horticulture, you'll have the knowledge and skills required to carry out a variety of horticultural tasks with confidence. You'll learn practical skills in areas such as plant identification, propagation, pruning, treatment of weeds, pests and diseases, turf management, paving and machinery operation.

2 - 3 days per week for 12 months, 8.30am - 4.30pm

Entry requirements

All applicants must complete the basic key skills builder assessment (BKSB) and obtain an exit level 3 - working level 4 of the Australian Core Skills Framework.(ACSF) in both literacy and numeracy., Applicants are also required to have a basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and email., Please note: students will be required to undertake manual handling, use handtools and be able to stand for periods of up to four hours at a time. Applicants who are unable to meet these requirements may have difficulty successfully completing the course.
