I am not 100% sure on promotion possibilities at this point, however, I do have the chance to progress to senior rehab consultant, team leader and into more management roles.
The company places an emphasis on work/life balance and we have regular team social events and catch-ups. All levels of the company are willing to help when asked and I have been able to go directly to directors and ask for help when required.
Most of the employees have children and have flexible working hours or reduced working days. There is a female and male director and the gender makeup for team leaders is near 50%.
Managers are very accessible and engage in weekly file reviews to set an official time to assist with files. Outside of that they are always willing to discuss any queries or find out the answer to assist you. I have two weekly catch-ups with the different manager so feel very supported in this manner.
The dress code is smart casual/ business attire although if there is no face to face meetings scheduled then it is okay to wear casual attire. The offices are well set out however due to growth there is not much space at the moment in the Sutherland office.
A lot of the skills and intricacies of the job are picked up as you go although due to the range of backgrounds and experiences of colleagues, they have provided a good foundation of tips to help in day to day activities. Some of the managers have years of experience dealing with highly unstable clients and provide good skills for best supporting these people.
