The assessments were reasonable and limited in number compared to other processes.

The interview was very well organised, and the whole process gave us a feel of the work we ended up doing.

Various online assessments qualitative and quantitative. Followed by an online interview and then an assessment centre with another interview with the leader of the business unit. Assessment centre had group task and a networking chat.

Typical long process of online testing, video question answering and phone interview before an assessment centre. I did like that the final interview took place at the assessment centre.

Why PwC, why this team, what interests you about the subject, current affairs questions, time you lead a teamout of difficulty

Why PwC? Experiences in life/work to date and how they demonstrate X, current affairs, situational questions.

How would you tackle a project on the "effect of bullying"? What are your interests?

1. Tell me about yourself 2. Describe a time where you showed leadership 3. Describe a time where you faced a difficult situation and how did you resolve it 4. What is the hardest thing for you to do? 5. How do you feel about engaging a group of people you have never spoken to? 6. Questions about my resume experience 7. How do you keep informed with world affairs? 8. What are your thoughts about the intergenerational report? 9. Why do you agree or disagree with the report?

Varies depending on interviewer. A focus is on working in different teams.

The face-to-face interview generally stuck to behavioural questions. The online interview was obviously designed to catch people off guard, and prompted questions like 'describe your dream client' or gave an oddly specific scenario and asked you how you would deal with it.

Everything. Make sure you are prepared to answer anything.

Be yourself. Know why you want to work here.

A lot of it is outside of one's control. Be calm and prepare/practice as much as possible

Know what the team does

Prep well with good examples of how you have demonstrated the values of the firm. At this stage, your credentials etc are sufficient, one key attributing factor to the outcome of the interview is culture fit, so just be relaxed/true/yourself.

Research the values of the firm and how you exemplify them

Apply to companies that where your career goals align with what the company offers in terms of industry or experience

1. Start Early, get involved in extracurricular activities in University 2. Get a job that contributes to developing your skills to getting your dream job. 3. Ensure your grades are up there 4. Respect others

Practice answering standard interview questions.

Every question they ask is aligned to their core values in a way, so read them and learn them well.

Make sure you are prepared to answer anything.

Think about your experiences and how you can make that relevant for the questions asked

Come to an understanding of the business unit that you are applying to.

Just have a go! And prepare as much as you can beforehand! There's a lot of free material online that is very helpful.

Care, know what you're talking about, be enthusiastic

Never shy away from achieving experience. Don't say no to a new opportunity that will teach you something, even the worst project, group, club, job offers to teach you a lot.

Research is the most important part, appear knowledgeable about both PwC's service offerings and wider issues in certain industries you are interested in.

Research the company, get to know the business unit they are applying for. BE THEMSELVES, so important as you will be working with these people day in day out and need to be comfortable in that environment and they need to be comfortable with you.

Be yourself. At the end of the day, people want to work with people they will get along with and who are smart.

Learn the values, and understand your transferable skills that you have picked up through work, volunteering and Uni.
