Different teams supply different workloads. The program provides opportunities to venture into 3 different teams for 6 months which is long enough to get stuck into a few projects but depending on the team the workload will change. Some teams that accept graduates deal with highly sensitive information and infrastructure which requires minimal 5-10+ years in the industry to work on. It is a great learning experience to see how different co-workers go about their work and you can learn from them, but there is only so much learning you can do before wanting to actually help and be a valuable member to the team. For example, the current rotation I am in I have my hands full with work. The work is sensitive but the team trust me and have guided me through the processes and ways of completing this work to allow me to complete tasks by myself. My second rotation team which I had limited skills to help out with, limited my tasks due to the sensitive infrastructure the team dealt with but let me sit in on watching them work and allowed me to learn. The tasks I was provided was more of an assurance/documentation aspect. I learned and gained a valuable experience but I wasn't challenged with tasks.

As a graduate, I spend a lot of my time shadowing or working together with my buddy on tasks and meetings. I usually have some tasks to complete independently in the background. Workload never feels too overwhelming, and clear communication with my manager helps me strike a good balance.

As a graduate there is an emphasis on learning rather than deliverables. I mainly assist the Cloud team with BAU activities and other projects.
