FDM Group is delivering a series of virtual tech training sessions in the roll out of FDM Tech Week – APAC Edition.
We want to help all uni students across APAC learn their first coding language, build their first website, and show them how powerful data, robotics and AI can be!

The Digital Skills Gap – APAC Edition: This session will be exploring the digital skills gap that currently exists in today's growing market. We will be discussing aspects such as recent technological advancements, technology investment and emerging technologies.
Intro to HTML and CSS – Learn how to build a webpage: We will explore the fundamentals of HTML/CSS by going through the building blocks that make up the websites you visit every day! Ideal if you're new to coding altogether, or if you already have a basic understanding and looking to refresh your skills!
Big Data: With evolving technological trends, the concept of Big Data is becoming more widely used. But what does itactually mean? The aim of this session is to understand the following aspects:
Intro to Python – Learn your first computing language: An introductory session for those looking to learn the basics of programming in Python. There is a practical demonstration for this event to allow you to follow along – so please use an online tool such as Repl.it or download a python interpreter to your computer.
Robotics & AI: In this session, we will discuss Robotics and Artificial Intelligence and provide you with more of an in-depth knowledge around these exciting fields. Our session will explore what robotics and AI are, a timeline of events, today's implementations, advantages & disadvantages and an insight to the future.
