  • Environment & Agriculture

Elders is proud to be the last Australian-listed major agribusiness. The most trusted agribusiness brand in Australia. We’re part of the landscape, part of the local communities, part of Australia’s history and we are entrenched in Australian agriculture.

The brand is more than a company, more than a logo - it’s part of Australia. And, with an authentic drive to create a sustainable future for farming and the farmers of Australia, Elders is... for Australian agriculture.

We are now looking for the next generation to be part of something big and drive the future of Elders.

If you are ready to grow your career with Elders, your journey starts here.

At Elders, we recognise talent, promote inclusion and celebrate diversity. No matter how you identify, we encourage talented people from all backgrounds, abilities and identities to apply for roles at Elders.

The culture and vibe

Elders like its staff to reflect the communities they operate in. We encourage applications from a diverse range of people, backgrounds and experiences.

If you like friendly, salt-of-the-earth types you will enjoy working at Elders.

Social contribution

Elders supports a range of business, community, charitable and sporting organisations throughout rural and regional Australia. It has an employee contribution program called ‘Elders Give It’, which raises money for Beyond Blue, Landcare and the Royal Flying Doctor Service.

Last financial year (1 October 2020 to 30 September 2021) Elders donated a total of $2.05 million in sponsorships and donations to over 840 local community sports teams and events.

Recruitment Process

At Elders, we believe in a thorough and fair recruitment process to ensure we find the best candidates for our programs. Our recruitment process is designed to give you the opportunity to showcase your skills, experience, and passion for the agricultural industry. Here's what you can expect:

Online Application: Start your journey by submitting an online application through our website. This is your chance to introduce yourself, highlight your skills, and share your relevant experience. Tell us why you are interested in joining Elders and how you envision making a difference in the agricultural sector.

Online Personality Assessment: If your application stands out, we'll invite you to complete an online personality assessment. This assessment helps us understand your behavioral traits and how you might fit within our team and company culture. Be yourself and let your unique qualities shine through.

Phone Interview: Successful candidates will proceed to the next stage, which involves a phone interview. This interview allows us to delve deeper into your background, skills, and motivations. It's an opportunity for us to learn more about you and your suitability for the program.

Face-to-Face Meeting: If you pass the phone interview, you will be invited to a face-to-face meeting. During this stage, you'll have the chance to meet our team in person and gain insights into Elders and the specific program you have applied for. It's also an opportunity for you to showcase your skills and demonstrate why you would be a valuable addition to our organization. The face-to-face meeting will include an interview and job-related activities.

Remuneration & Career Growth

Elders provides its staff with opportunities to reach their full potential. We employ many industry experts who are happy to mentor others. Staff also have access to on-the-job training, online learning, webinars and in-house courses. Many of our senior managers started out as graduates and trainees. Staff can specialise in livestock sales, wool sales, rural products, agronomy, financial services or real estate.
