A fair amount of the workforce are women.
Gender equality is great, we do have a ways to go regarding minority employment including indigenous and LGBTQI+ opportunities. The culture is not bad in this regard, it's more that it's not deliberately open.
What does your company do to attract applicants from less privileged backgrounds?
Through offering generous remuneration through salary and superannuation as well as a relocation allowance, CSC attracts applicants from less privileged backgrounds.
Grad program attempts to hit smaller universities/more regional ones.
The graduate program is very accommodating to all backgrounds, but I think there is more to be done in general recruitment.
