Culture at Cardno

Due to the size of the office there is a close-knit social atmosphere. The culture is built around the values of Safety, Integrity, People and Excellence.

Great culture in the office. After hours, the culture in non-existent. No one wants to spend time with one another or mingle and get to know each other.

Culture was very good, with recent events there has been high turnover and some redundancies that have dampened the culture as well as limited the chance for events that usually help team bonding

Generally good company culture, good teamwork and prior to COVID good mix of social activities Some inter-team silos still exist though

Our teams work collaboratively within themselves and with other teams, we often have projects with other disciplines. Managers treat younger and less experienced employees with respect paving the way for them to development and build the knowledge and confidence to take over projects

The traffic team's culture is great, and especially my team. Each week we set aside 30-60 minutes to play a group game or just have a chat about whatever it is we want to talk about. In the past, Cardno have had issues with putting on high quality office-wide events, which many people weren't happy about, but day-to-day the culture is very positive. Most people are usually up for a laugh and don't take things too seriously. And when work needs to get done, it gets done, and to a high standard.

Friendly environment where colleagues help each other, the structure and hierarchy change often. Cardno community is excellent in socialising and teamwork in delivering successful projects.

The culture is pretty good my electrical team goes out to lunch at least once every week and everyone is really friendly. The other people in the company that I have met have mostly been really friendly. The company also offers some great social events every month for all the staff as well as a great social club for the younger professionals in the company.

Team cooperates well, in and out of work. Good balance between work and social life during interactions and within conversations.

Culture within my team is very good. However, different teams within the organisation have completely different cultures.

Hours are flexible although a few team members seem to work considerable amounts of hours and deserve more recognition. Deliverable s are tight but that's an industry related problem. Our team are supportive and will put the necessary work in to be competitive.

The culture within the office in general is positive, the majority of staff work collaborative and have positive relationships. However, the culture could benefit from increased diversity. The organization could benefit from lessening the culture of romanticising over working.

I feel that there is a great sense of corporation and communication, in office and outside of office hours.

I am pretty close with my team and I feel like we work well together, but in general I feel like a lot of the people are being overworked due to the lack of hierarchy and organisation in order to deliver the projects in a timely and less stressful manner.

People at Cardno are generally friendly, approachable and easy to get along with. It is a culture where people are willing to help each other out and there is a big focus on working as a team.

The company is a positive environment where we celebrate wins and support each other in tough times.

Seniors/managers are highly approachable in this company

Amongst my team the culture is great and I have found a good support group that I can get assistance from. I am also in an after hours sports team with people from work and there are plenty of social activities to attend.
