What initially attracted me to Bendigo and Adelaide Bank was that it is a reputable community bank and an employer of choice with a diverse range of career directions available. Also, its head office in Adelaide would enable me to pursue my career without relocating.

The thing that most excited me about the graduate program was the opportunity to work in a more strategic role versus an operational role.

I have been with the bank 3 months and currently in Products for my first rotation. I am really happy with the variety of work I am getting. At the moment I have ongoing daily tasks such as reporting, smaller one-off tasks, and larger projects. The projects I have been involved in so far, for example the development of a new product, have been exciting and rewarding and have given me the opportunity to add value.

I love the culture and the working environment here. Bendigo Bank is big on work-life balance and they really value their staff. I work with supportive people who genuinely want to see me succeed.

The graduate program provides a holistic view of the bank by providing a rare opportunity to move around to different departments, helping me understand how they interrelate and fit in to the bigger picture.

I have learnt so much in only my first three months at the bank. I am constantly learning and developing my knowledge and skills, as well as applying what I learnt at University.
