To be eligible for admission to the Master of Cyber Security, an applicant must:
hold any Bachelor degree (or equivalent) from a recognised University (or another tertiary education institution of equivalent standing) with a minimum GPA of 4.0 (using a 7.0 point scale)

Students admitted with a Bachelor or Bachelor Honours degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or equivalent will be eligible for 40 credit points of advanced standing towards the program.

An Honours program is offered as an additional year to the undergraduate program. The Honours program consists of a fourth year of full-time study (1 year) or the equivalent part-time study (2 years). Courses are offered on a semester basis, i.e. two semesters per year.
